Uninstall The Faulty DUL/S and Install The New One
When Uninstalling the DUL/DUS making note of all the cable connections by labeling them, especially the CPRI cables before disconnecting.
Even if the CPRI cables were labeled, it is still advised to verify these labels because there are sites in which swapped sectors have been corrected, but the labels were not. It means you have to reconnect the cable/s exactly where it was connected beforehand.
Load SW To Your New DUL/S
- In this step, please refer to section “Loading Basic and Upgrade Package Onto A DUL/S” in this training course. NOTE: Before loading the SW to your new DU, you need to know the specific Upgrade Package or version of SW that was active in your existing DUL/S. You then have to match it with exact same Package or version. There are different ways to verify the SW version and one way to do it is on the next slide.
